Present: Steve Pasadis, Wayne Thompson, Ralph Thomas , Vic Shellenberg , George Elbert, Jeff Goering, Gary Davis, Mike Duggan, Jim Gordon, and David Marquez

Absent: John Christensen, Tony Conrardy, Bob Andrews

Call to order: 7:05 by Vic

Minutes: Were read and approved.

Treasurer’s Report: Currently have $3,449.39 in the CD and $22,208.14 in the checking account for a total of $ 25,657.53

Publicity: Steve reported that he is preparing a mailing with info about the fee increases caused by increases from the NCGA and how this will reflect any changes in tourney fees, etc. Also Steve is requested any input for the annual Mulligan newsletter. Articles of interest may be submitted.

NCGA: Wayne reported that Bob needs info to upgrade the NCGA directory.

Membership: Ralph is receiving many envelopes with membership fees.

Tournaments: Discussion about Oct. tourney, 160 signed –up for this NCGA 4 man 2 ball event. Clarify how to keep scorecard. Final NCGA event of the year. Discussion on how to improve the match play tourney. Doug Powell addressed the board in regard to pre-pays who can’t play, when given one week notice, shouldn’t they receive a refund for the green fees. Much discussion about penalties, tourney fees and green fees. George explained the appeals process, which is already in place. Gary can use his discresion and if member disagrees he can then appeal to the board. Doug took the opportunity to appeal for his green fees in the match play event. Motion made and carried to return, based on a medical condition, a check was written. Bob B. sat in to talk about breakfast in Nov. Board agreed to have Bob handle the food , cost will be determined

Old Biz: A little more talk about Tourney Directors right to D.Q. participants and the appeals process that may follow

New Business: Discussion about elections for club President ’07, Vic S. has been confirmed for 2007, motion and carried.
