Present: Steve Pasadis, George Elbert, Gary Davis, Mike Duggan, Jim Gordon, Tony Conrardy, Bob Andrews, and David Marquez

Absent: Wayne Thompson, Jeff Goering , Vic Shellenberg, John Christensen, Ralph Thomas

Call to order : 7:05 by Steve ,( acting chairmen)

Minutes: Were read and approved.

Publicity: Steve reported on the results of an online survey that was taken to help decide the format for the directors cup tourney , this tourney format is yet to be determind, the survey conveyed a majority interest in having either a 4 man 2 ball event or a 4 club event , much discussion about the survey results and how to proceed.

NCGA: Bob reported about informational meetings with ncga, we missed a local meeting, however Bob may be able to attend another soon .

Membership: No report , Ralph was absent.

Tournaments: Discussion about April tourney , weather and play conditions, much discussion about policy for tourney cancellations. Mike raised questions about how BV could make a better showing in the Monterey tourney’s , much discussion about sandbaggers and how to deal with them. Questions raised about number of flights and how many players from each flight . Tony raised questions about having a Scratch Flight in some of our tourney’s , much discussed about future possibilities in this area. George made a motion to vote on format for directors cup tourney, Gary went to the bathroom and the motion was not seconded, George withdrew the motion and the tourney format was tabled until next meeting.

Old Biz : None

New Business: Bob Bowowitz asked the club if we would like to go in with the ladies club in purchasing a new file cabinet , the general consensus was in agreement to this , style and color were in question.

Treasurer’s Report: Currently have $3,449.39 in the CD and $43,586.56 in the checking account for a total of $ 47,035.95
