Minutes: Were read and approved.
Treasurer’s Report: The Club has $3,398.53 in
the CD and $34,320.79 in the checking account for a total of $37,719.32.
Publicity: Steve P. posted the tee
times for the upcoming tournament. He noted that he’s still working out the
bugs. He also posted a summary of our financials.
NCGA: The
stickers and sheets came out for what is the probable last time. It appears
that the members are getting notified in a hit-and-miss fashion from the NCGA
with e-mails regarding their handicaps. Steve O will research the procedure so
that all members can benefit.
Membership: We
have around 685, still.
Tournaments: The next tournament will be the NCGA Net Amateur, hosted by Steve O
and Bob. It will be a
Old Business:
Steve O reported that he had revisited the BVGC bag tag issue and that we could
provide the membership with the tags for a paltry $5 per, which, Steve noted,
could be folded into the dues. They would be 2-color with an embossed name.
There was some, mostly favorable, discussion, along with other suggestions of
where to spend our largesse before the issue was tabled for future discussion.
New Business: The Tournament of Champions
at Bodega for $75/head was given its’ annual vetting. It, too, was tabled.
